What's That, An Enormous iPhone is Inevitable?
The Macalope on John Gruber’s refutation of the preposterously large 4.6 inch iPhone rumor:
Jim Dalrymple—a man who can be drunk out of his mind on Heineken and still be right more times than any “analyst”—says succinctly that Gruber has a “good point.” That’s like taking a rumor out behind the shed and shooting it in the head.

Diablo III Dated
I’ve been playing the Diablo III beta for the last several weeks, and it has been excellent. Rarely does a game represent its concept art as faithfully as the current version does. Ultrabook Paternity Test
Eric Grevstad at PCMag.com explains why the iPad wont replace your laptop. Say what you will about the article’s thesis. This little morsel at the end is what I found interesting:
If Intel is ultrabooks’ father, their mother is the MacBook Air.
I’m guessing “ultrabook” is an illegitimate child here at least with an unwanted pregnancy being more likely. This...

Immersion: Macro vs. Micro Detail in Skyrim
Over on the blog, Critical Missive, Eric Schwarz takes a shot at discussing immersion in games with a specific focus on Skyrim. Immersion is a difficult quality to pin down, as many articles on the topic already suggest. But it is, in many circles, just that elusive quality that seems to produce the best games. Toward the end of the the piece, the author conflates immersion with realism—he and...
