If I’m doing the math correctly, and if tethering is included, I think my wife and I will save about $50 per month.
The way I read it, tethering is included, on phones and tablets:
Includes Unlimited Talk & Text for all phones, FREE Mobile Hotspot for capable smartphones and tablets, and no roaming or long distance charges nationwide!
My wife and I don’t save anything and would possibly pay more. But we were at the lowest price point already. Still, we gain an additional half-gig of data and something I find very interesting.
For the entirety of its existence, texting has been priced in the most customer-hostile manner that the carriers could get away with. These plans go unlimited with texting and picture messaging.
Maybe I’m living in my little Apple-centric bubble again, but this decision must have been influenced by iMessage.
Good riddance price-per-message SMS. No one will mourn your passing.
